Forms

netAdventist 3.0 allows you to create and publish forms for your visitors to fill out and submit online. You can even post groups or entire packages of related forms.

Creating a Form

  • Sign in to your netAdventist site.
  • Select the Dashboard link at the bottom of the home page.
  • Click on the Website Pages tab at the top of the page.
  • Select Forms from the menu on the left side of the screen.
  • Click the Add Form Package button on the top right.
  • Enter a title for your form package. Think of it as the folder name where you will add multiple forms, such as Pathfinders for all your Pathfinder forms. Then select Add Form Package.
  • At the bottom of the page, below What would you like to do next?, select Add Form to add forms to your form package.
  • A box opens where you can enter a name for your form, then select Add Form.
  • You will then be taken to a page with four tabs that will take you through the four steps of creating a form. After assigning properties to your form select Next.
  • To add fields to your form select the Add link next to the type of field you wish to add. The fields will display in the Forms Fields Preview area.
  • To move or edit a form field place your cursor over the field you wish to move or edit, then drag it to where you would like it to go or select the Edit link to edit its properties.
  • Once you have edited your form fields select Next.
  • Now you are on step three and should see the Message to Submitter screen. This tab allows you to create a message that visitors will see after they have submitted your form. Use the editor to create a message that will be seen by customers filling out and submitting a form.
  • For a form to work properly a receiving email must be entered. Enter an email subject, a message, and an email address to receive a submitted form.
  • To add an email, enter a valid email address and a name. Select the Add subscriber button to add the email to the list. Repeat the process to add multiple emails.
  • Select Done.
  • The Form Package you created is automatically saved as a draft form. To publish the form package select Publish.
  • To add a single form select the Add Form button and follow the same instructions above for adding a form to a form package.
