Home

This is the first page your visitors see each time they visit your site. It includes any menu choices or content your Web site administrator(s) choose to make available. Home is where your visitors can Register as members or Log In on subsequent visits. Additionally, it is the gateway to behind-the-scenes access by your site administrators through the Admin function.

Adding Content to Your Home page

• Sign in to your netAdventist Web site.
• Select the Dashboard link at the bottom of the home page.
• Click on the Website Pages tab at the top of the page.
• The home page preview is displayed by default. Select the Edit link at the top of the page in the preview. The home page editor will open to allow you to make your changes. Remember that the content posted here is what everyone sees when they first visit your site.
• Enter a greeting that best describes this site and it's purpose. It is best to bring in unedited content into the editor if you are doing a copy paste. Use the editing tools to insert photos chooser, video chooser (In flash format .flv or Mpeg4) or audio chooser (MP3) to enter media.
• At the bottom of the page set your Page Properties. Since this is your homepage it should be accessible by all so leave the page properties set to Anyone.
• You can change the layout of your home page with the Change link or you can add widgets by select the Edit Current Templates and Widgets link. To change the template or add widgets, see the instructions for creating or editing templates or adding widgets.
• Once you're finished editing, select Save.
